Come and be part of the action! 欢迎参加北京国际电影文化交流!

Submissions are open for the 2012 Beijing International Film Festival, organized by the Chinese national and Beijing municipal government. We are authorized to collect your movies, sort them, and pass them on to the Programming Department. Final selections and notifications will happen at the very end of March / beginning of April, 2012. The 2012 Beijing International Film Festival will be held between April 23 – 28.

We're not using Withoutabox.com this season, so there will be no entry fees. Just e-mail beijingfilmfest@gmail.com and we'll send you an entry form, address, and FTP info. All features, documentaries, and shorts are welcome. Selected features will be allowed one representative to attend the festival at the festival's expense.

There is no hard deadline, just get your screeners and form in to us as fast as possible. Programming won't want to get deluged with entries after mid-February 2012! The earlier you send a screener, the better your chances are!

Beijing's Biggest Film Festival 北京国际电影季

This website is run by the private company 7 Horns (HK). We sucessfully ran an international independent film festival in Beijing for five years, 2007 – 2011. Our working group has naturally partnered with the government-run BJIFF organising community to cooperate and arrange screenings of a number of films. We will also be running a special event at the 2012 BJIFF to showcase Beijing's amazing local movie industry figures and artists.

As the first Beijing International Film Festival concluded on the 28th of April, 2011, we celebrated a successful international cooperation benefiting independent films. Check out some of the pictures below, and see the films we contributed to BJIFF on the selected films page, where the movies run at our 2011 independent festival are also featured.

2011年4月28日结束的北京国际电影季象征着造福独立电影的一次国际合作。欢迎观看以下图片,并在精选影片页面观看我们在2011独立电影节上放映的电影,它们同时也被提交到了北京国际电影季。
